Monte and Bonnie checking in here from Las Vegas. We're out here teaching at Harley Davidson / Buell University for three weeks. Weather sure is nice! Sunny and 60's and 70's for the high temps. I just got done teaching a three day class to the Asian Harley/Buell dealers. These guys are out of control! First they all look like they watched the movie "Harley-Davidson and the Marlboro Man" and walked into the clothing dept at thier dealerships and said.. "Prease make me rook rike that" A couple of them are really good riders and a couple had almost no experience. Great group of guys though. They listen and have so much enthusiasm it makes it fun to work with them. We teach 8:30 - 4:30 every day. Fun time is the two 30-minute breaks in the AM and PM. We have had Buell races. Trip Noble and Nick Insetch kicked ass. (No Mike, you can not have Nick's autograph). In teh morning it's STT work from 5:00 until 7:30 and then some more each evening so there is no time for me to go watch shoe modeling at any of the local establishments. Since we're right next to Nellis AFB we get to see some reall cool hardware come and go. Every day the following takes off for excercises: A couple of B2 Stealths, One AWACS, 2 KC-10's, Bunches of F-15's, Bunches of F-16's, Four F-111 Wild Weasles, Two EA-6 Prowlers, Eight FA-117 Stealths, Four Brittsh Tornados, one Brittish Nimrod, four A-10 Warthogs, Two SAR Blackhawks and Six FA-18 Hornets. The only reason I can think of for the Navy guys is maybe they want some "real" pilots and not just "sunny day, long runway" types. Bonnie really wants a ride in the B2 Bomber. They have three of them. Maybe if I walk up to one of the M-16 toting guards posted around them (after sneaking onto the base) and ask if they would be interested in trading some track days for a ride they might consider it?? Where excactly is Levenworth Kansas any way...?!!! Off to do laundry at the Petro Truck Stop... Oh ya, this is the life. Reporting from the road....... Monte and Bonnie
NO SYMPATHY HERE .ITS A WHOPPING 3, COUNT THEM THREE DEGREES HERE IN CHICAGO ! AND WHILE YOUR AT IT PUT 5 BUCKS ON 31 BLACK HAVE FUN AND ANSWER SOME E-MAILS
I just got back from a week in Mexico with Kristen (cost me about 12 sets of friggin tires), it is now a whopping 9 degrees here in Michigan. The worst part is Dave and Frenchie are at Jennings setting up the new bikes and it is in the high 70's. This weather sucks, and the fact that you are in vegas makes it suck even more.
Sounds like fun. Did they break out any XB-RRs? That alone would have been worth the trip from Phoenix for me.
Yep, boss dude you guys suck! But as Bacon said we are on our way back (around knoxville). Dave was flyin as usual, Mike Massara was goin good also. And last but not least Eric Johnson & I were bringin up the rear. G-Hayes is truly THE MAN!Great times were had by all, and now it's back to the tundra.

Tell Bonnie if she wants a fast ride forget the Air Force and get on the back of 220! Dave kicked ass at Jennings this weekend!!! Tell Nick hello and that I hope his Touareg is doing well. Eric
It's probably in the shop where it spends the rest of it's time. JK. BTW, Ken is going to buy one for Janet so he'll be in contact with you soon.
