    Hey everyone,

Last track day was Grattan, ambient temps in the 80's, cold tire pressure 30/30, haven't changed pressure (or checked throughout the day). Faster Novice group pace, sag set roughly 27mm front and rear. Felt great, but wasn't too hard on the throttle to notice any slippage.

    Bike: GSXR 600

    What're some of your thoughts?

Slight rebound issue, but overall it looks like you need to twist the throttle more!

You might want to increase your rebound setting (clockwise rotation of the clicker) to slow down the rebound dampening just a bit. Do it in small increments though maybe two or three clicks and watch the tire wear pattern. If the leading edge of the groove is lower than the trailing edge (according to the direction of tire rotation), the rebound needs to be slowed down ........increase it clockwise.

    Thanks for the replies!

Since the beginning of this riding season, I set sag and put compression/rebound settings right at the middle of their range. Roughly 6 track days later, I still haven't felt any feedback from the bike that would incline me to make any adjustments.

I'll try adding a few clicks of rebound to the rear and ride a full day. I'll report back with a pic.

Can't wait for Grattan next week!

Maybe we should have a "Critique my tire" in the tech area.

Geeze I wish I could get wear like that at the end of the day! Just wait until you start getting quicker how quick tires wear.
