Very tempting. Can anyone comment on noise? It probably wouldn't bother me if I wore earplugs, but I'd hate to annoy my pit neighbors. Maybe I'll wait another year to buy a generator and warmers since I just got a new street bike.

I won't be buying, just passing this along.

Just for others' reference, what is a target operating decibel range?

If you dont want to drive your neighbors crazy then no louder than the Honda/Yamaha inverter gennys. Probably under 60db. But not everyone can afford these. In that case set up where you can run a long extention cord to the genny, preferably away fro other people. I had a very experienced racer put his loud ass genny about 8 ft from where I set up once. I kindly asked him if I could move it to the other side of my truck where mine was. At that point he was apologetic and allowed me to move it but how bout a little common sense?

Hey you made it all day more less right next to me and my EXTREMELY LOUD generator! :thumb:
Them cheap and loud generators are always a hot discussion.
I bought mine years ago to power the house during outages. It's a re-manufactured 7000W one and it was $350. That thing brought us thru all the power outages we had in the last 4 years and a small season at the track. For the house its great especially in the winter since it run everything! At the track it SUCKS! I dont want to run it at night because it will keep half the paddock up. You have to pick ur spot wisely so you can push it way into the back so you can actually hear urself talking. The best are them Honda/Yamaha ones but they cost some pretty DOLLARS!:eek:
But I said it before thats the next big thing I get me!

Everybody love to pit right next to me! :lmao: Dont worry Eddie I will find somebody else to annoy! Usually Im next to R6Forever, T-Town-Tom and Mr. Sawicki! They kinda cover me up!:thumb:

And I do push it way to the fence (Grattan Lower) so as soon as the bikes are on the track it doesnt make a difference!
