I will start with stating that this represents my personal experience and opinions that I’m sharing with the community in order to provide more tools to make your choice.

    TL;DR

Quality/price ratio is good. OneX suit quality is average. Not bad, not excellent and the price reflects it.
My custom suit experience was terrible. Got a suit way too large, tried my best to find a solution, never accusing OneX of any wrongdoing. In turn, I got no concrete help to make the suit fit and constantly implicitly being accused to have given wrong measurements. Digging deeper I found out this is not a sporadic case. I learned from other people experience that it’s not that uncommon for OneX to procure suits not to customer measurement and it appears they never really feel responsible for it.
    I wouldn’t recommend a custom suit.

    Long story

Suit’s quality: The suit quality is average, nothing major to complain about but I don’t think it’s top quality. I had Dainese and Alpinestars suits and you can tell they are superior. However, OneX is cheaper, so I think it justifiable and of course reflected in the overall quality. The liner is mediocre, the stitching doesn’t seem robust at all, some of the patches I had OneX put on don’t line up or are not straight, and (not in my case) I saw several cases where there are marks or stains from different colors, not sure where it’s from though. Somewhere in the manufacturing process, which I seem to understand doesn’t happen in the USA. Overall, the quality/price ratio is not bad.

Custom suit experience: That’s where things went really wrong. I took the measurements they request from the guide. Of course, paid extra attention, measured multiple times to make sure I was getting a reliable measurement. I even called OneX a few times to make sure I was measuring in the right way. Send measurements in, wait well over the 6 weeks indicated, get the suit and it is completely wrong. I believe there isn’t a single measurement that’s actually right. Call OneX to explain, email them pictures of me with the suit on and with my current Alpinestars that fits perfectly and, to my speechless surprise, the answer I get is that “it fits great”. Ok, they must be looking at some other pictures. Anyways, we exchanged several emails and phone calls and, since the very beginning, I made it very clear that I don’t care about whose the fault is, I’m sure I got some measurements wrong. So I just ask for a recommendation on a solution. Extremely annoyingly they kept brushing me off saying that the suit fits fine but (here is the fun part) they are will to do anything to resolve the issue. I keep asking how…no concrete solution proposed. I propose to send both of my suits to them so they can compare, I tried to meet them at the track, I even proposed to fly to their location. I got absolutely nothing concrete from them. In this process, I got measured by a tailor that confirmed my measurements were good. I also compared them with my teammates; we are very close in many measurements but my suit is extremely loose is some areas. Like inches off…

After that I tried to sell the suit, since I figured I wasn’t going to get anything from OneX. I thought I was going to find somebody bigger than me that could use my suit with a good discount. During that, a few people reached out to me describing a similar issue. Bad fit and OneX unwilling to help. I also had somebody mentioning that there is usually a line at track events at the OneX pit…and it’s not a line of happy customers. I thought that was funny.

After about 6 weeks and after a friend of mine had a similar terrible experience, I finally reached out to OneX again to ask for a refund since I don’t see a resolution to this issue. I don’t need to say how that went.

Final thoughts on OneX: competitive pricing, good quality gloves, terrible custom suit experience.

As mentioned on the other forum you posted this on…I have had nothing but Great things to say about my experience with OneX… Communication, Sizing, Delivery and Quality… I have had Teknic, Alpinestar, HeinsGerrick and others and by far OneX has fit better and crashed better… Only good things to say about Paine and Pinto from my side….
