The Indy group is going down the last weekend of December for the three day event. Going to spend the last day of the year going fast! See you guys next year!

It isn't any different, but it catches people off guard. You can kinda rail through 6 and 7...then you hit 8 and it is like WHOA! If you know the track, no big deal. But if you are still getting up to speed, T8 can kinda sneak up on you. For a corner that is so slow and not very exciting, i have probably seen more crashed there than anywhere at Jennings.
It's a decreasing radius from what I remember and can sneak up on you. Isn't the exit of 8 where everybody has left marks in the pavement?

I personally think folks make it a bigger deal causing them to panic more when it's not needed. I tell people it is no different than another turn. If folks get scared about one particular spot the chance of an instance in that corner will be higher.
Nichole is cooking up some chicken chili for us for 1 night. Other than that, I'm not sure what the plans are.
Nobody should be "scared" of any turn. But it never hurts to give a little heads up like "T8 is slower than it first appears, so use a little caution until you get that area dialed in". Personally, im scared of the whole track.
