Correct me if im wrong Jimbo.... He was a student in our Pro School and was being lead around by a coach when another slower rider showed up that he couldn't avoid and he tucked the front. took a pretty nasty fall in T1. bike was ok but he broke his scapula and hand. bruised up and sore everywhere else. Heal up fast Jimbo... This from his Facebook Page... "well i ended my Friday way too early. I started gaining time right off the bat. I came into turn one and ran into traffic I think. Anyway I took the turn too late, leaned it over and didnt make it. Got too the edge and went down. Spent 5 hrs at uab. Cat scan, x rays and other tests. I have a broken scapula and hand and some road ras on my left smoulder My right hand is bruised up and I am sore all over."
So sorry to hear that Jimbo. Take it easy and heal up and you will be back. I am 100% now five months post my Jennings crash. We are thinking about you. Mark&Lois
Sorry to see you go down....I was excited that you were going to do your first races this weekend. You were really riding well. Heal up quick and get back on that horse!!!
Spoke to his wife today at the track. He is doing better and is milking it for all its worth. She seemed like a great wife under the circumstances. She was also appreciative that the stt family loaded all his stuff and had it ready for her to take. He's beating himself up a good bit for falling in the first session. Bike had minimal damage so I couldn't believe he was hurt so bad.
Yeah, Paul and I loaded the stuff up. Hopefully it wasn't too unorganized We were both surprised at Jimbo's injuries after looking the bike over as well.
I am alive and kicking a little bit lol. Feels like I Am getting better until I go To get out of bed in the mornings. I Have a follow up next week with a surgeon next week but from the x rays and cat scan they don't think I will need surgery Thanks everyone for the support
