Is there any way around doing a two piece?

Right now, my Alpinestars size 50 fits me perfectly. I'm 5'8" 155lbs, chest is roughly 40 and thighs are roughly 24. Inseam is 30.

    This will change shortly.

After a long 4 months of recovery from surgery, I have been cleared to return to the gym and I'll probably bulk up quickly back to my previous 180lbs, 45" chest, 26" thighs.

Here's where the problem comes in. I'd probably need to move to a size 46 or 48, which is made for someone much, much taller than myself.

Thinking I should just get it over with and put in my order with Vanson.

Anyone else with a bodybuilder type build have any recommendations?

I am 5'6" and 165-170lbs. I have a 30" inseam and waist. Chest is about 44". Don't know the thighs never measured them. Similar build to you. I fit perfecty into a RS Taichi M2W. I also fit in a LW but had to have the thighs shortened by 3". I use to wear a Alpinestars 42 US, but it was slightly too long in the arms and really long in the legs. It did fit everywhere else. Look into a custom suit or dropping the coin on the Japanese sized suits.

Thanks for the insight. We do sound like we have very close builds. Might take the trek out to Detroit to try a few on in the coming months.

Pilot does made to order that are reasonably priced and good quality. Might be about the best option for both cost and timing when you take alterations into account.
