Ready for bike night, but you haven't got one to go to yet?Attend an event that counts!

    April 14, 2007 from 5-8p.m.

    Bodega

    1044 N High St, Columbus, 43201 - (614) 299-9399

"Support those who support us!" -Stewart Aitken-Cade, President of the

United States Grand Prix Racers Union, said it best when referring to the

action needed by all competitors sponsored by various companies, fans, and

friends to show respect and appreciation for those who help us out and share

    the passion of motorcycle racing!

So in working with the owner of Bodega, Colin Castore and one of this

year's Mean Green Machine Racing sponsors, he has allowed us to have a "Bike Night"!

We hope to see a lot of people i.e. local street riders/racers, dirt, drag,

stunt... whatever at this event. Of course it's great day to break out the

bike early, but most of all... stop by to check out the local talent, their

bikes and help kick off the 2007 USGPRU and OYL road racing season! We also

hope to network with other local riders and racers to team up for track

days, weekend rides and race events.

This is a chance to see YSR50cc, 80cc, and GP 125s, owned and raced by local professional road racers! Unlike bike nights with large budgets, this is an

opportunity for all local and neighboring area motorcyclists and enthusiasts

a very modern, laid back environment to "meet and greet" the pilots of these

    machines!

What else is happening besides the bike show?

Videos! "The Doctor, The Texas Tornado, and The Kentucky Kid", "Faster" and

a variety of on-bike cam track footage. Bodega has a great menu of both

modern and traditional fare, drink specials, and music. Not to mention an

upscale urban d?cor and the matching atmosphere!

Business contact information, sponsor promotions, track days and race

schedule will be made available by attending riders and/or sponsors.

Hey, don't kill the messenger, I'm just relaying the info.

According to Marcus Matthews (USGPRU rider and event coordinator), there will be 'bikes' on display. What type? Two strokes more than likely. Ringa-ding-ding. So no need to bring yours, and the weather is supposed to be poopy so I think riding is out of the question.

If you have specifice questions, call Marcus at 614-266-0573.

I'm in, but if Bill is there forget it. He's likes to stare at my man-junk when I'm in the can. It creeps me out.

    LOL

    :D

Catherine and I will be there around 6:30. I know that Scott Smallwood will be there, quite a few USGPRU cats and kittens, the YSR peeps, Fasttrack, maybe some AHRMA racers (maybe Mark Hatten, maybe), local riders and whatnot. I thinks it's going to be a decent excuse to get out and drink some hootch, kick tires and talk shit about how 'how your bike is a (fast/slow) and that you (are good/suck).'

    :D
