I share a single car garage with my brother. His car is in there every other week. 2 bikes and a car. A little bit crowded. I'm so jealous!
Love the garage and set ups FastGuy.. But I love even more how some are still stuck on "the way you introduced yourself"...lol Let it go people!! Beautiful bike, it's on my list of bikes to have.
Your mancave is awesome Mike. Wish I had that much room. Yours is great too Marc. Mine won't be done until next year. I'm building a 12x12 shed to house all the non-motorcycle stuff and then the garage will become the mancave. Pics next year hopefully.
Wow ! Nice garage, my single wide mobile home I keep on 8 mile Detroit with holes in the floor would fit in you garage. Must be nice to be rich. Thanks for making me hate my life. Poor boy
:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: Flying in to Barber in March John? Or are you going to join your hired transporters this time?:thumb:
The top secret sheep lair is still being modified. Insulation and drywall for the ceiling with more to come after that. But like the bat cave no pictures allowed :fencing:
I didn't always have the GARAGE MAHAL.......for 13 years in California I had to cope with a much smaller single car space!
My cave is not just for winter its year round for me It's occupied by 100% motorcycle addiction. Satelite TV, WiFi and cold adult beverages. Not huge (largest I could put on the property) but very well laid out. The repair/rebuild/service stall The bike storage side More from the rebuild/repair side And its a cool hangout Fully insulated for the not so cold southern winters.imp:
Actually it was a Service Honda CR500-AF so fear and fun where one in the same! I was much faster on the Husky because the 5-Honey was always trying to KILL ME!!
Here is a panorama from last year. Here is a more recent one Garage is pretty much a total mess in both photos. I need to organize better and get a new shot.
Me too. I shove all my bike stuff over to one side to fit the wife's van inside for the winter. Nice garage Roy! Kneedrag…how many bikes you got?!! Fastguy….still got the RC?
Ha, I have thinned the heard a bit since that pic but currently I have 5. The answer is to calmly and politely explain to your wife that her van will now enjoy a spot in the driveway year round. If I had to fit her car along will all the bikes and tools I wouldn't be able to walk. My wife is actually really cool about it. The only time I catch any shit is when the females from her family come over and start in with the " I can't believe you let him do that" talk. I usually chime in by telling their husbands I can't believe they let their wife get fat (within earshot of the ladies) and the conversation makes a speedy turn in a new direction. :bounce:
Thanks a lot This thread is really temping me to empty my garage and do a full overhaul. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I haven't been doing a good job of keeping pics of the shop (you can keep up with us on Facebook at the Gigabykes Speed Shop). Currently in the shop we have all the bikes ('06 CB599, '12 Sportster 883, '02 R6, '03 GSXR750, '89 Cagiva 250, '91 VFR 750), Jeremy's '96 Cobra, my friend Shadow's '72 M-M hearse, my '72 M-M hearse, jet ski, go kart (looking for a donor bike to make a shifter kart out of), '97 Explorer with a supercharged 302 that is donating it's guts to a '97 Ranger. Recently busted down a wall in the office and now have that space too. Total we rent 7200 sq/ft and sublet 3600 to a friend of mine's business. So it's 3600 sq/ft of man cave with a full size display fridge, very fast wireless and more ways to destroy/mend metal than should be allowed.
Building this freed up the house garage which was a big one to begin with. Now my world is completely detached from the main house and I love it. Plus we can park our vehicles inside year round. Weathers not terrible here but it does get cold at times and rains a lot. Nice to get in a warm and dry vehicle in the mornings.
