If I sign up for a track day at mid ohio Im linked to the mid ohio track website. How do I get a SportbikeTrackTime membership if the purchase of the track day is on another site?
If you haven't joined STT before, you need to create a new ID there- your board ID isn't automatically transfered over.
Duuuhhh, thanks. I guess I'd have figured it out in a month or so. Then again, maybe not. That was easy. Now all I gotta do is learn to ride.
Since Sportbiketracktime has such a good relationship with the Mid Ohio school, does the membership offer much more than the t-shirt, discount coupons, decal and other goodies. I would assume that the other membership benifits pay off at other tracks without a riding school (ie. classroom instruction, choice of track dates etc.)
Not sure what you're getting at, but STT offers classroom instruction for all of it's track days. As for the Mid-Ohio School, it's my understanding that it is simply the name for the partnership between Mid-Ohio and STT and a sort of cover for STT's exclusive arrangement with the track, under the aegis of the already existing Mid-Ohio school for cars. Make no mistake, the instruction is all STT. There are often STT member discounts on tires and special deals at SportbikeTrackGear.com, too.
You answered my question, thanks. I can use the discounts so I guess I'll sign up for the membership.
So, let me get this straight. Mid-Ohio motorcycle "school" is an STT track day, but it's open to people who are not necessarily STT members? For example, if I had never heard of STT, and I go to Mid-Ohio's site, and sign up for a "school" day. I wouldn't be expected to also pay for an STT membership... Right?
I pretty sure you don't have to be a STT member to do Mid-Ohio.. Since you go through Mid-ohio for the trackday. No where does it say you have to go to www.sportbiketracktime.com and sign up for an addition membership.
