I'll be there Saturday to hang out with a few buddies then I'll be back Sunday with my bike to rock out! Can't feakin' wait!
I'm sitting at the Travelodge, drinking a cold one....waiting for morning. I never sleep very well, the night before.
...had a great time out there with you all, took a bit to get back into the groove on the Mille "B" bike considering I blew the dust off it and prepped it Friday after a 2 year snooze.
^Hey I seen you yesterday, hard to miss a bright orange bike! Had a great time as well! I was in the I group for a few sessions on Sunday, learning the new bike setup and slowly getting my speed back. I definitely didn't want to bin it on the first weekend so I kept things conservative. I'll be back May 28th for the KTM event; can't wait to try out a different bike.
I was there on Saturday in ‘I’. It was my first track day for the year so I was very conservative. I had new tires (2ct’s NICE)brakes, rotors and a new "used" set of leathers. #41 2004 Yamaha R6
I had a great time Saturday. Jason set the suspension up on my Buell 1125r and man it made a HUGE difference. It was like riding a new bike. It felt like it dropped 50 pounds. I was really able to ride the bike alot better and harder and still felt comfortable. I even managed to work past a few people and had some great battles. This was my first track day with the Bridgestone 016 tires. They performed awesome. I set the air pressure at 30 psi for the first session and never checked them after that. I could have ran a pound or two less but they were working great so I chose to let them go. What an awesome day. I am so looking forward to my next event.
Awesome weekend yet again! Very windy but otherwise beautiful weather. I had a blast and was able to improve my lines everywhere throughout the weekend. Being the first time on track since last year, I was pretty rusty out there on Saturday. +1 on Jason and DOT. I had a bunch of questions for him on Sunday and he took the time to share a TON of info with me. Can anyone provide a link or more info on the guys taking photos there????
I was only there Sat. I will also be back May 28th for the KTM event; can't wait to show up with just a gear bag and a cooler. www.heavypennyphoto.com
Well this weekend was certainly interesting Saturday get the shock of the Gixxer to give to Jason to re spring and the f**ckin thread come off with the bolt. SO that FUBARED my Saturday. Come back with the ZRX1200R on Sunday and ride in intermediate, cause I did not want to get in the way of the advanced folks on the dinosaur. Man Sunday made up for Saturday I had so much fun on the beast. I had forgotten how easy that big green sexy beast is to ride on the track. Naked rules
What a great weekend of riding. 8) A little windy as mentioned above, but with the temps around 80 it felt pretty good to have that breeze blowing through. Found some extra speed in a few places, less brakes here and there and even got a little draft action on the back straight w/ the SV. Nice riding w/ all those in 'A' both days. Can't wait to get back again. All that only to leave Sunday night and crush a deer on US30 with my truck. Luckily there was minimal damage to the truck, not so lucky for the deer.
Dude I saw that! I was walking up to the classroom and saw it snap you throw something on the ground and kick back in your seat and throw your legs up on the bike. I was going to ask if I could help with anything but figured you just needed sometime to reflect. Good to hear you got a chance to reconnect with your dinosaur though.
