Yesterdays evening event was the schnizzle! Make that schnizze McGizzle!

70 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. We rode until 8:40 and I personally put in four 25 minute sessions. That's nearly two-hours of track time. Honestly, that's a ton squeezed into 4 hours.

Thanks to eveyone who came out and to our staff for a super afternoon/evening of riding.

Great weather. Great format. Great bunch of guys/gals to ride with.

Unlike Monte, I'm too old and fat to ride Mid-Ohio for 25mins straight. But the flexible format let me get in plenty of saddle time during the four hours the track was open.

Also liked the late p.m. start. I'm three hours away from Mid-Ohio. Seemed easier to get home later in the evening as opposed to getting up at 4a.m. to make the drive to make tech or spending the $$ on a motel the night before.

Yes..that was great time! Could not have asked for better weather..ablsolutely perfect! The fact that my legs are still sore tells me I more then got my moneys worth in track time. It was nice having cones set up out there. I don't know if they were put there just for the porsche guys or not, but they helped me shave some time in the keyhole.

Speaking of Keyhole... we had a good sized crowd up there, Thomas and I were waiving to them with a knee on the ground. 8)

Good stuff. More fans at a trackday than most races. Dang there were a lot of MX guys there.

The MX was an AMA Loretta Lynns Qualifier. Over 800 entries!! That's HUGE, almost like the old GLRRA days ;)
