I just read a press release from American Suzuki (Rockstar Makita Suzuki). Mat will race the AMA Superbike series as will Tommy Haydena and Blake Young. http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2009/Jan/090126suzukiinsb.htm

Lets just hope its not a one rider championship. Tommy showed promise early, before getting hurt and there was some pressure, albeit minor, from Hacking later in the season.

I can't believe this news. I did not think that I would see Mladin in the AMA again after his harsh words last season. The racing will be very interesting. We will get answers to a lot of the "What if?" questions from the past. I am positive Yosh will show up with the best prepared bikes.

    Yoshi Bikes

I can't believe that the team does not even have the 09 bikes yet???? What is up with that, said they were hoping to have them by the time of the Barber race.

    Re: Yoshi Bikes

I was just at Corse Superbike today.

They JUST got their first '09 GSXR-1000 in this week.
Yosh simply did not have the 09 bikes to prep.

FYI, the forks and front brakes are pretty trick, on that bike.

You can buy the Mladin Yoshimura, only $59,000. Now, that's a bargain!!! It'll make you faster too. 8) http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2009/Mar/fiftyninegrand.htm

P.S. It'll be like GP1 in 1997 (what's now MotoGP) when Mick would see how far forward he could clear off from the field in every race.

Without Spies everyone else is racing for 2nd and Mat isn't training and doesn't even need to 'test' like all the other teams. Why both with the '09 bike when he's more than fast enough with the '08?
