I just wanted to follow up to say I had a great couple of days riding and coaching mondays track day on MMC North. Good turn out for a mon and being on track with Doug Polen was really cool.

Weather was awesome. sorry if you missed it.

Tues I worked with David Podolsky, our novice instructor Bill Deal along with guest Instructors Travis and Kyle Wyman during the STT PRO SCHOOL on MMC South.

Travis and Kyle were really informative helping out in classroom lessons as well as on track demos. we got to stand almost on the tracks surface to watch Travis on his AMA spec Yamaha R6 demonstrating proper execution of a 90% turn. It was a good time learning new skills and improving body position and turning the motorcycle with the whole body. I found new muscles to make sore so Im hitting the gym to work legs and core.

I am sorry I missed riding MMC North in the CCW direction. How was that?

I had a blast and thought it was both demanding and rewarding to run the track in one direction on one day and the opposite direction the next. There's just so much to love about both directions. Big thanks to my Novice group yesterday. You guys made for a great day. Saw tons of progress, tons of smiles and some really fast laps. You guys were flying!

From a student's view of the pro school.

    1. Excellent day
    2. Class size was excelent (had the south course all to our self)
    3. If like anything you listen to and apply the info. that a person is telling you. You can better youself.
    4. If you want to get better find someone that is better than you (thats the easy part) and watch and learn from them.
5.Would i do this again? Simple YES
    6. I have so many things i can work on now. Because i have the info to use.
    7. Excelent Instructors
So thank you to David,Kevin,Bill,Travis And Kyle. And the other student's because i fed off you too.

BTW My favorite drill was the left hand off this had a big impact on me.

Pro school was both humbling and rewarding. the class room portion were informative but the course drills was were the instructors made it stick. i was very happy with the braking exercise and the passing drill. the way the instructors used the safety cones in random corners to throw off your normal entry and exit line was genius. there was plenty of one to one time and none of the coaches had any reservation when it came to telling you to do the drill over. oh and tons of ride time.... tons of it. :D

Regarding the 7/23 pro school, how exactly does that work for someone in my category: I have done 2 track days at MMC with STT (Memorial Day Wkend). I see that the group I am most likely to fit into is novice to low intermediate. Yet is the PRO SCHOOL really 1-1 groups all day? Can one pick their coach? How does the registration with a coach and the day work?

    Thanks!

    MO-

The STT PRO SCHOOL can work with riders at almost any level, if you are confident with track day riding then you will fit right in at our school. The last school had riders like yourself up to advanced stt riders.

We teach riding techniques that will work for everyone, followed by on track drills where you ride at your own pace. The emphasis is not on speed but control of your motorcycle while pushing your comfort zone to get you to the next level in your riding.

Our last school had 5 instructors for 11 students. This teacher to student ratio will provide plenty of opportunity for 1 on 1 riding with multiple instructors throughout the day.

thank you very much! i am leaning towards giving it a go... just have to double check with the calendar... but it seems very interesting for a rider of my status... appreciate the reply.
