I'll be away so just a quick heads up again. Fox to broadcast a live feed on Sunday July 22 at Laguna Seca. Maybe Rusy Wallace will be the color guy. Anyhow, my biggest disappointment with Schwantz is the lack of input of the racer's view point or what he is likely thinking or trying to do while on the track. An example was when Rossi was trying different lines to pass Stoner and he comments that Rossi blew another turn. Or, Stoner's bike is shaking etc.. Why not explain why the bike is doing that or what Stoner is doing to combat that or what he did to cause it? At Assen mention the "old section" and how that is different from the bastardized new section where the track was cut short to add a 'shopping zone'.
it sounds as if he is scripted. during the first race, when he was in his tropical shirt, it appeared that he was looking down and reading the whole time. It would be nice to give all of america the energy that the announcers for Moto GP have with the knowledge of an american racer. Hopefully no that he has a sports coat....he will give more effort.
