Ok, I've made a decision it wasn't made lightly, but it would help me out the best in my situation. I've decided to sell my 05 zx-6R I really love that bike and it has some nice stuff done to it. I need to sell it to pay off some old bills that popped up on my credit related to my ex.......divorces suck!!! :x Anyway, I figured if I sold it and used the money for those bills and maybe took some of that other money I could put it towards an already race-track ready 250. If I sold my bike it would help me in both of the aspects that I need taken care of. I think that learning a 250 would make me a hell of a lot better track rider and force me to work on skills that I get lazy on with the steamed up bike. It would also help me with my current situation. The only problem is that I don't even have the foggiest idea as to what I should even try to sell it for. I've crashed it 3 times......I know that sucks. Once on the street and twice on the track. They were all lowsides. The bike runs and handles completely AWESOME!!! I just have a little cosmetic damage on the race bodywork that I have and the left foot peg has about a 1/2 inch ground down on it.

My bike has a hotbodies race kit.(Not totally pristine now.) vortex racing rearset, K&N airfilter, Akropovich Evolution exhaust system, Power Commander, Woodcraft clip on racing left engine mount cover with replaceable skid plate, a rotary GPR steering dampener, and I dropped a tooth in the front. I was going to put a new suspension on it too, but that isn't feasable now. It's a perfect track or race bike. I just don't even know what price to ask for it. If you guys could help me out I would appreciate it. I've alway got really good feedback from you guys and I appreciate. Thanks.

P.S- A picture of it would be in the AVATAR.

You're best bet Rabbit is to put it back to 100% stock to sell it, then part off the goodies on ebay.

There's one little problem with that..... When I wrecked it the first time I trashed the old body work, headlights, ect. It didn't effect the way it ran or handled whatsoever, but I wonder what kind of money I would have to put back into it to sell it stock. Or now that you mentioned it I could still keep the bike and just sell the aftermarket parts on it on E-bay for now and then later just put some stuff on it too. I didn't even think of that one. I'm just trying to get some insight that's all........Hey Chris, by the way you still want to go grab them beers?? I didn't forget. I've just been very busy.

Rabbit, give me a ballpark idea of what you are trying to get for your bike. I may be able to help you move it or may purchase it for our inventory if the price is good enough. Call me 712-546-7747.

It's kind of weird. I never ended up moving there, but I ended up room mating with my step-brother in South Lyon. That's still only 15 min away though. If you're up for it I have some really tasty venison steaks. I also heard there is a good Micro-brew out there in the Northville, Novi area off Haggerty too.( I like my beer. ) Just let me know.

I don't have the slightest idea at all what to sell it for, but I will definitely give you a call before this weekend. Just out of curiosity though. If I were to sell it would you guys happen to know how to get ahold of some track ready 250's?? I would be interested in buying one before spring. I would like to practice for one more season and then maybe consider racing a 250 in a couple of years. I figured I would learn more and it would be a better starter class for me. I would have to save up more money for that too. I'll call you for sure before the weekend.
