Before posting my request for assistance, I have been instructed to mention that I obtained approval from STT Mgmt. before posting (as identified in the forum rules). I am also required to state that STT is not a party to, and has no involvement with the legal matter with which I am seeking assistance, whatsoever. STT also assumes no responsibility to any outcome of the case with regard to any expert witness I may, or may not, secure as a result of this solicitation on the forum.

I am an attorney located in Central IL, and I am looking to speak to an expert rider, instructor, or professional qualified rider who has a lot of riding hours primarily on a 600cc Honda CBR, 2002 or newer model. I am looking to speak to someone to assist me with an ongoing case. I represent a motorcyclist here who had a bus pull out in front of him. I am searching for someone who I might be able to hire and utilize as an expert in this case in which we have sued the bus company. The motorcycle my client was riding was a 2002 CBR 600 F4.

I have a neighbor, Jeff Blair, who is an intermediate qualified rider who races at track days throughout the region, and who is also a member of your forums. He suggested that the STT forums might be a good place to locate the type of rider that I am looking for to assist me with this particular case. As previously mentioned, I am searching for an expert rider, instructor, or professional qualified rider. Previous experience on a 2002 600 CBR F4 is a bonus, but not necessarily a requirement. The person I am looking for would also have experience either as a motorcycle mechanic or have years of experience doing the mechanical work on their own motorcycle(s). The necessity of that, is just so that I can feel secure knowing that they know the intricacies of a motorcycle, both inside and out.

The stretch of roadway that my client could have accelerated on was barely over a .10 of a mile. There is some witness testimony that I need to have better comprehension of and possibly combat, which is the reason I need a motorcyclists knowledge and experience. I have experience riding, previously having owned a Kawasaki ZX 750 and a Suzuki GSXR 750, so I have some knowledge, but it has been over 2 decades since I last rode.

If you meet the requirements above, my client and I would greatly appreciate your assistance and would request that you send me a private message with your name and number.

    Thank you in advance.

STT is not authorizing this post as a statement of support for or against the case for which I am seeking assistance, but they do recognize that they have access to a large number of experienced motorcycle riders which might be helpful. The decision of anyone to assist with my case is theirs alone, with no coercion either way from STT or its employees, contractors, or affiliates.
