Sorry, I didn't see the post below with ACC & Gingerman

I just wanted a little geedback about Gingerman. I have been given permission to go to Gingerman on Father's Day. I've done Grattan, ACC South, & Blackhawk Farms. How does Gingerman compare to these. My goal this year is to get out to other tracks rather than the local tracks. Thanks in advace!

I was talking with one of the nesba control riders on sat, and he said that they have large cracks in the pavement.

Yea, those pictures look very nice Steve! I'm sold... after seeing those I sent Joe an e-mail asking him to post some from Grattan (from 6/2). Can't wait to see what he has!
    Nice work Joe.

No one answered the question. Gingerman if flat wide and fun.
You can see all of the turns and it has a ton of grip.

What is the surface of the track made of? I mean, when a race track is made they don't just use regular asphault right? Curious what goes into the recepie for friction?

The track is really ruff texture. Excellent grip.

I'll be there on fathers day also. Just look for a yellow honda 919. You won't be able to miss me...lol..

Yes there are two groves in the pavement . But there is a easy way around them , or over them .
    I like the place .
Like Autobahn it rewards you for turning late .
Sand trap in T3 is really soft  just take my word for it .

GingerMan is pretty straight forward. Easy to figure out, but it gets tougher as you go faster. Plenty of grip & fairly smooth. There are two seams that split the entire track into three lanes. No issues if you cross them. A little groove wander if you ride along them. Here's a link to a video: http://media.putfile.com/GingerMan-136sec-lap (Hit mute. The audio sucks.)
