I just rejoined STT for '07 and signed up for Tally on April 1st . Looks like that will be my first outting on a track for this year . Sucks having to wait . I usually ride "A" group but new bike and new track layout so I signed up for "I" class untill I know I'm comfortable . Can't wait , the new track looks exciting except April 1st is counter clockwise (not my best direction) and that will put wheelie hill on the new track just before braking
Just signed up for Sat. 3/31 and Sun. 4/1 at Tally. I'm excited and nervous. This will be my first time in Intermediate. I've been to Tally for 2 weekends. A day at Road Atlanta and a weekend at Barber. I'm not the slowest nor the fastest but I think I'm consistent with my lines, so that's why I felt like it might be time to move up. Also, it might be time to get some rearsets for the monster to help with the ground clearance issues. The mods never end. Darkside, I saw your bike at Tally last year. Kewl , different bike but still an '06 R6 . Just looks a little different with race plastic this year . I wadded the 1st one up at my last Barber trackday in late October . Hopefully traction will be good on the new track . Only 2 turns will be the same from the old track so it will take all morning to learn what's what . C'ya there !!
Can one of the Official-guys here find out if campers will be allowed into the area on Friday afternoon (March 30th?).

Sorry I've been traveling the last 3 weeks and I just got home and only checked work stuff on my laptop. Yes we've always been able to get in on Friday and I've seen nothing at the NEW Tally to change that but we should know for sure soon.
We have to be able to camp and hang out Friday night at Tally- that's when I will be handing out all the cigars!(and flippin' tires) Ice-cold Coronas on me(or Falls City, depending on how business is going then!) STT South Tire Guy
Should be in(out) by then, but I honestly don't know for sure if I will make it to Tally. If I'm not there I will still make my brother buy you guys beer! I hate to miss the first Tally, but I think I would regret missing the first few days of my child's life a little more. We'll see how it goes though and I'll keep ya posted.
Just saw this post on the Tally forum. Due to saftey concerns at the new Tally, the track will run ONLY in the counter-clockwise direction until further notice. The WERA race has also been changed from clockwise to counter-clockwise. This is a delay due to construction issues and the timeframes we have been working with only and as soon as some minor issues are corrected the track will run as normal . Safety is our top concern and we appreciate your patience . Thank You

No, I don't do diapers yet. I figure I'll just bring him to the track and trade diaper changes for tire changes(one tire per diaper). :shock:
This going to be a great weekend... I am bringing my Fire Pit for Friday and Sat night... Anyone with some spare wood to burn bring a log or 2...
