I was sitting home watching the news the other night when a story came on concerning a new automotive country club being opening in 2008. It looks like the course is a proposed 6.3 mile road course . . . longest in the US. Sounds great. Here's the link. http://www.prairiehillsmc.com/
Wow... This looks great, and may well give ACC something to think about, not to mention a great venue for STT. Alan Wilson... :| Yippie. Hope this gets off the ground.
Had a VERY long series of discussions with the principals.. the final configuration will be different and allow for a straight of more significant length. ACC needs to look over thier shoulders, these guys are going to duplicate what ACC did right and skip the the things they did wrong like allow ars on the new paving 48 hours after it was laid.
Sweet. There's this place also: http://www.drivebluegrass.com/facilities/track.html Have you talked to these people Monte?
Track Indiana Monte: In your opinion, do the principals have the deep pockets as they have at Autobahn? What are the chances this will happen, and not turn into another Autobahn ego-fest? Much thanks John
Ill tell ya we have winters but with this track,Autobahn,I39 raceway thats 3 new tracks in the last 4 years. Its fun to be in the mid-west.
