There is another one stalking the East Coast. I believe his name is Bill and he rides a GSX-R.

Wow...Inspiration for some, intimidation for others.

That dude's got my respect. He clearly must be very passionate about riding. It had to take some guts to get back on the bike.

the guy's name is Aaron Lanningham, an ex-pro AMA racer who was injured in an accident at Loundon, New Hampshire back around 1994. He's also an MSF instructor and was a driver for the Olympic Bobsled Team.

I have seen a couple people that are equally as amazing at various STT days.

There is a guy (not sure of his name) at Mid Ohio last year that only had his right leg. He lost his left in a motorcycle accident a couple years ago and continues to ride. I might add that he was riding the heck out of his ZX10 last season and was putting down some pretty impressive times!

There is also a rider in the southern division that only has limited use of his right hand, so he has modified his bike to brake, throttle, clutch all on his left hand. If i remember correctly he uses a thumb throttle and a trick dual lever setup for brake/clutch. Lemme tell ya, it is something to see when he passes you on the inside of the final turn at Jennings, throws up his right hand to signal pit in, then gets off the track. I was pretty sure he was crashing till i realized he wasnt really off the gas like i thought!

These guys prove that winning the mental game is most of the battle!
