I will be attending my first track day at Barber at the end of the month. How do I check my brakes? My fluid is fresh and my lines are good. Lever and pedal are firm. How thick do my pads need to be? I can still see the groove in the pads, but other than that is there a thickness they must be?
Also, is it better to leave my bike and trailer in the paddock overnight or take it with me to the hotel?
Thank you for any help you can offer.

Bike is most likely safer in the paddock than the hotel parking lot.
pads are tough more than half would be preferred.
not sure there is a mm minimum pretty much if it doesn't look like you going to start grinding you should be ok .
If your super concerned get a spare set to keep on hand
