I just signed up for both the 4/22 and 4/23 Sportbike Track Time Pocono track days. My plan is to leave Friday evening and to drive to Lake Ariel, PA where I have a vacation home. I am doing both the Sat and Sun track days, so I will be staying at the Lake Ariel place Sat night as well, and return home Sunday evening. I also just bought a E350 van which can fit 2 bikes inside and seat 5 people at the same time. The van is currently parked in Summit, NJ. So without a trailer, I have one free spot for a bike and 4 spots for people for anyone in the NYC or northern NJ area. If a couple people have a trailer and are interested in meeting up, the van has a hitch, so we could fit a couple of more bikes on the trailer. The more the merrier! (If you're a little bit further from northern NJ, let me know and we can try to work something out). Also, anyone who comes is more than welcome to stay at my place in Lake Ariel friday and sat night. It's about 40min north of the track and there should be 3 free beds, a couple couches, and a basement where we can work on the bikes. Who's in?
I'll see you there but I'm only going on the 23rd. Paying for two days in a row at Pocono in April is a gamble at best due to the unpredictable we_ther conditions. I won't even complete the spelling of the word to avoid a j_nx. Last yr, we actually ran the track while it was snowing. It was a cold, cold day but we still had fun.
