Can anyone fess up to being the fellow who nearly got really intimate with my bike at Turn 1? Somebody got really close to me early in the day in Advanced group on turn 1, then flagged me down off the track to apologize. Much respect, but I don't remember the guy's name. He mentioned that he sometimes coaches, but I didn't recognize him as one of the STT regulars. Just wanted to issue a heartfelt thank you for being cool about the whole thing. I'm sure it was easy to find me since I'm rocking a neon green "hey cagers see me!!!" Scorpion on the world's worst painted 675. If anybody knows the guy, feel free to give him props for being a stand-up guy about the whole thing. No busted fiberglass no foul!
That's typically how that goes in advanced.. If I have an oh crap moment and it adverts someone else's line I make sure to go apologize. It happens and good to hear the other involved came to apologize. The A group has gotten pretty good since they started moving ppl accordingly.
