Ive been lookin at sliders for my 06 Gixxer 600 for track days and have pretty much decided on Woodcraft. Then at Sportbiketrackgear I found the ones that mount on the engine covers. http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com/Detail.bok?no=682 Yes, they might be very convenient because they would be easy to install without fairing modification, but are these any good? Personally I wouldn't think so because then the motor is taking the impact rather than the frame. Any comments...?

They (Sportbiketrackgear) also offer those "crash pad" type. What do you have to say about them...?

Give STG a call. Ask For Mike Flis. Ask him your question, then do exactly what he says. I'm serious. really.
