Got a few questions I need answers to.

1.) How does the tire process work?

How much is it to change out a tire?

Does the price change per track?

Can you have the tire changed at anytime?

2.) What kind of coolant can we use? Currently I've got Evans coolant. The Gratten people said it was ok last year.

3.) Places to stay at MidOhio? Do we get a discount and how much is it? Can we camp at the track?

I think this is it for now.

    Thanks,

    Chad

Saw that you asked this on Cycleforums as well.

The STT website can answer a lot of these questions for you:

Coolant: (#6 under bike prep) http://www.sportbiketracktime.com/policies.html#bikeprep IMHO, it's probably best to change the coolant anyway if you are in Novice. Let's say I crash and coolant leaks out, I don't want to be the person who left anti-freeze on the track for everyone else to ride through. Obviuosly they would try to clean it up, but you get my point.

Lodging: (click the link that says, click here for lodging information) http://www.sportbiketracktime.com/trackinfo.html#MidOhio Not sure if each one gives you a discount, each hotel probably has their own policies, but I know that some do if you mention you are going to the track/STT. Regarding camping, check the Mid-Ohio website via the link above: "Click here for Mid-Ohio website" then, "Track" and then "Camping."

Tires: not sure, we've never used this service. But you can always get your questions answered this way, direct from STT http://www.sportbiketracktime.com/contact.html. If you are planning to do it at the track and if you will be in the Novice group, keep in mind that you would most likely want to do it in the morning, or at lunch, since you'd either be riding or in your Novice class sessions after you ride, and that only leaves 20 min until you ride again, though you could pre-arrange it with the tire people.
