    I have to repaint 5 panels of my oem farings for $500 or I can buy Chinese farings for $500. What to do? What to do? What are the pros and cons???

    repaint your stockers if you have to. the chinese stuff never fits properly.

    I have seen ALOT of bikes with them and NONE fit right! Go with the stock parts for sure.

    Very stiff, crack easily when trying to fit. Very bad fitment. The pics they send don't show the detail in their sticker/paintwork. If you did buy the chinese, you would most likely be paying to repaint them after you got them fitted. Stay clear of them. The old saying, you get what you pay for applies to this particular type of item. :)

    Paint the stockers. Don't pump your hard earned money into China unless you have no other viable options.

    yes stock for sure. My china trackwork required LOTS of work by my paint guy to be paintable. And ive already noticed some stress cracks.
