Awesome Thank You!! I look forward to the opportunity to try out Road Atlanta for my first track day. I live 10 miles from the place. Being new to STT and track days I do have a few questions: Do I need to be a member of STT to complete this trackday? (I was notified of this from a track coach and just joined the forum.) Is there a thread that goes over arrival time ect? I assume (and from what I have heard others talk about) being in novice there is some additional meetings I attend? Any other information or recommendations will be great! Normally I would have all of this information gathered and prepared however, I found out about this opportunity Monday, joined the forum and entered the drawing. I'm really excited about this opportunity (I've been wanting to complete a track day for a couple of years now.)
You do not. Although I will warn you: RIDING A MOTORCYCLE ON A RACETRACK IS HIGHLY ADDICTIVE!!!! So, if you're not a member, you'll want to join before you book your next day. But no, to do this first timer's free day, no membership required. I'll be posting up a "facts about Road Atlanta" thread shortly... it will outline the basic schedule of things. Yes, we'll go over that the day of the event.
