What kind of rules are being used as far as safety wiring and all that stuff? Common sense I'd assume but just to error on the side of caution.
Ok, figured that. I assume registration and all that is going to be all taken care of at the track? Im in as well and got a reciept for payment but thats about all i see to fill out. Im used to registering online with you guys or nesba or whomever.
ah, I see your confusion and I will clarify. Apex (a sister company) is the actual event host. Naturally STT staff and I will be present to ensure Apex's day runs EXACTLY like a STT day with minimal alteration. Once you are trackside you will sign the waiver (waiver will be completed for you and in a binder at registration) you'll get your sticker, get tech inspected, take your picture with me (it's a free part of the experience), got to rider's meeting, and then it's time to turn and burn! Also, don't forget the gate fee is 30 bucks BUT when you return you wristband you receive 25 back. Its a CCS thing
Signed up. I haven't ridden with STT before, or let alone known that Apex sponsers track events. Look forward to meeting some new people!
Thanks. Good thing you said something about the wrist band, I usually have mine cut off before lunch, they bug the hell out of me for some reason. :sorry:
Will do! Yes I have, mostly at Road America but just never with STT before. My schedule always worked out better with Nesba for some reason.
well, odds are you'll be seeing a few of your old buddies in the paddock including some staff too.:thumb:
Well, I'm ecstatic about the June-July reschedule. I couldn't make the June dates (which would have been the third year in a row) but I can, in principle, make the July dates!! These will probably be my only track days this year until Barber in October (Carla insists that we make the October Barber STT event an annual trip, and I'm all about making Carla happy).
