I wanted to remind you guys and give a heads up that in three weeks will be the Autobahn Country Club track day event with Sportbike Track Time! We are really excited that CCS is returning to Autobahn and this event will be a great opportunity for racers to get some extended practice on this track or track day riders to get some season opening track time to shake off the cobwebs. This event will be held on the SOUTH Course, the same course as the CCS race weekend! Please note as this event preceeds the CCS race weekend, upon entering the track you will have to pay the CCS gate fee. However, if you leave the paddock by 7pm on Friday evening, you will be REFUNDED your CCS gate fee! We will have our standard Novice group (no classroom instruction), Intermediate, and Advanced/Open Practice. The Advanced/Open Practice group is intended for the club racer or very accomplished track rider. The pace is fast and there are no restrictions on safe passing. Riders in this group must be comfortable passing and being passed in very close proximity to other riders and at very high speeds. Groups are filling, so get your spot while you can now!! - See more at: https://www.sportbiketracktime.com/...nth/april&product_id=665#sthash.BuHwolCg.dpuf
Signed up! First CCS event for me at ACC and first time on the south course. Gonna need alot of ride time
I'm in! This will be my first time on the south course as well. I'm not a racer, just a track day addict.
It'll be my first track and I'm riding the bike up there. The inspection check list doesn't seem overwhelming, but the nervousness I'm experiencing is lol..insane. I should probably put on the stock fairings, rear sets and wheels however, my work schedule is pretty enormous up until my scheduled vacation on 4/29. I'll just have to find the time.
You'll be good man. The coaches are there to answer your questions, make you safe, comfortable. Everybody else is friendly and willing to help.
Anyone know what the gate would be per person Thu-Sun night? I see on ACCs website camping is 30, is that per night? Just a few questions to see how much cash I should bring out. Thanks guys
Coming in Friday night for autobahn south, 1st time racing a Midwest track. My daughter and I are riding the june30/july 1 with STT at Road America. Please confirm for autobahn south: Is the gate open all night friday into saturday? I've got a 13hour drive and don't know when I'll get there. No power in south paddock? Is paddock paved or do I need to bring plywood? Thanks -Eric
GAH! Wish i could make this one. Dont think the bike will be done in time. I might come up and watch anyway.....
The gate will open on Friday until 11pm, then reopen Saturday at 6:00am. No power at Autobahn, so bring a genny if power is required. The paddock is paved.
Two more weeks to go! Don't forget it's the South Course and it's only $205.00!!! So you know that's a great deal for South Course!! At that price, I'm sure spots will sell out fast. Get that extended practice in or just get some seat time before the opening track season to shake off the cobwebs. Any suspension experts going to be there? I could really use some assistance setting up my sag, etc. With Cash, of course...
We'll be there! Old Fleetwood RV with white trailer; we're there for the weekend with plenty of beer - stop in so I don't have to drink alone!
