For anyone that has a Grom as a pit bike: I'm dying to try one of those out on the track. Let me know if you'd be interested in trading for a session, you're more than welcome to try out the lil' 250. I'm really considering getting a Grom over the winter to race in some minibike races but want some confirmation that they're as fun on the track as I'm expecting, it'd mean a lot to me if someone would let me try one out!
I am going to have ours there but, I don't think they are going to let you on the track with it. it tops out at about 60 mph. Ski
Oh please, if I really tuck in I'm sure I could get it to 62 at least. :jester: Nick gave the thumbs up for it last time as long as I took it out in Novice (at least that was my understanding). I'm using to having my doors blown off in the straights anyways.
First timer I will be the for at least Saturday. First time at ACC so will be looking for someone to show me around Saturday morning Setting off from South Lyon MI in a few minutes..... Later
Hey Knolly did you ride at all today after the first session? If not, you probably ran for a total of 15 seconds today. I was two bikes behind you when you went for a spill Hope all is well!
Haha, is that a new record or something? Turned out my bike was leaking coolant, so as soon as I turned it spat onto my rear tire. My bike was done for the day but I was completely fine. I borrowed a friends 600 for one session in the afternoon, I called it a day after that since my confidence just wasn't there anymore. I heard rumblings that someone else might have had a run in with my coolant that spilled in turn 4, if that's the case I'm truly sorry. I'm also sorry to the I guys that had to wait while they cleaned my ass up. I hate being "that guy."
If you ever need help swapping out your coolant I or anyone else riding at the track would be more than glad to help you, just ask.
Shit happens. No idea if it was your coolant but a at least two people in "I" went down around that area today. Doubt it was your fault, though, "I" was crashing all over the place all day.
