tim, believe it or not.... she is the one complaining about the temps.:wtf: i would like to go but, if i dont get things done around the house when the temps are cooler, i will have to pay for it later in the season when the weather is alot better. gotta pay the piper sometime. might as well be in april v.s june or july. glad you bought warmers, you will enjoy them. you might have to stick them under the sleeping bag to keep warm at the track this weekend. :fencing: have a great time, and be safe this weekend.... It's official! The long trek from Iowa has begun. It will be cold tonight so I will apologize for the generator early. 2 first timers (future addicts) coming with me.

I know the heavypenny photo guy said he wasn't taking pictures this time, but in the last few sessions there was a photographer sitting right after the bus stop taking pictures. Does anyone know who that was and where I can look at the pictures? Or does anyone know if there was any other people taking pictures that are posting them up somewhere?

The heavy penny guy WAS taking pictures, but only of those that went to him and said they wanted pictures. In the riders meeting that guy said to see him if you wanted pictures. Were you at the riders meeting?
I was but it really appeared that he was taking pictures of me as I passed and I never went to him after the riders meeting.
It was great getting back on track Sunday Did't expect it colder than the team chicago event. Last two sessions allowed a lot of folks to start recalibrating their reflexes. Too bad the photographer was not out early to catch my tank slapper on the first lap. Came close to being "that guy". I think I am going to skip the first session for now on. 1/2 the folks skip the last session, so it is probably a better call. Cannot wait for the DiSalvo school this summer.
Fyi...'he' is me I occassionally shoot other people either out of boredom or to practice or test the angle or light to get it right before the paying customer comes by. Sorry you didn't get any pictures....but next time hit me up early....like right after the riders meeting and I'll take care of you. What bike were you riding?
Another GREAT weekend at the track! ( a little cold maybe ) Thanks to everybody who added to the fun.... Staff and students. Met some really cool new people and got to hang with some folks that I haven't seen in too long. Can't wait for the next one!!! :bounce:

Saturday Great day at the track and the weather was way better than I had dared hope for.... got some good pointers from a couple of the CRs which helped a lot.. Was sad to see how out of shape I was for motorcycle riding even after all the mountain biking this year...today it feels like someone was punching me in the thigh all weekend.. Great to finally get back on track after the long winter and getting the tire warmers was nice as now don't have to wobble round on cold tires for two laps and wonder what I left loose because the bike feels so strange.. need to pull my tank to see which vent line a have pinched, tank was creating a vacuum after each session, surely not good for fuel pressure... Next trip for us will be the early may Mid-Ohio, back to STT for the rest of the year after that. later
