Does anyone have a recommended hotel suggestion? The links on the Barber website are more high end than I really want especially if I foot the bill solo. Be willing to share a room; non-smokers and no buzz saws(snorer's) only. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks
Paid $83 per night Sept 26th and 27th at the Courtyard Marriot in Trussville. Starbucks is near by as well (Mandatory for my stay). Had to reserve online I beleive to get that price. Tim
The Holiday Inn Express in Trussville is less than $100/night, and includes breakfast. It's advanced purchase with no refunds. For about $5 more a night, you can get a refundable reservation. I stayed there last year, and it was fine for my needs. The hotel in Trussville was recommended to me over the Irondale Holiday Inn last year (better/safer neighborhood?), even though Irondale is a little closer (negligibly) to Barber. Bonus points for the Waffle House right by the Holiday Inn in Trussville.
