    Hi all,

    The Bad News :

As most of you who visited my website know, My computer did suffer a Hard Drive crash about 6 weeks ago and all the images from the GINGERMAN EVENT ( August 20-21 ) where lost before I had a chance to back-them all up. :(

I am now, implementing new procedures and hardware to avoid that happening agian in the future.

I just kind of figured that, since the Hard Drive was only 3 weeks old ... I "MIGHT" have had a little bit more time to back-everything up.

    The Good News:

I have listened to my customers and am proud to say that the "NEW" SPLITSECONDPHOTO.NET will debut on NOV 1st, 2005 with ONLINE viewing and ordering !!!

PRINTS from the MotoGP Laguna Seca Round will also be available for purchase there.

BE SURE TO CHECK IT OUT!!!

And I would love to hear your feedback on the site as well ...

I also wanted to say that I had a BLAST working with Monte, Bonnie, the STT STAFF, and the STT members in 2005 and hope to see you all out there for a great 2006 season !!!

    STAY SAFE !!!

Is the drive still spinning? If this is a regular sized drive, laptop drives might be different, it's common for the drive controller board to fail. If it isn't making a loud clattering you might want to just try replacing the controller board--it's generally very simple.

Take the drive out that is bad. Underneath you should be able to remove a few regular screws and the board will pop right off. If this is the case, go to the store and buy the exact same drive again. Move the new board to the old drive with the data. If it works, you're golden.

    Good luck!
