So where's everybody from? Who do we have in here? Whatcha'll riding? What's your turn-on's and turn-off's? (Okay, that last one was optional.)

I'm Mary. Track Coach for the Eastern area.

I have an '02 R6 with a few nice goodies on it.

I'm racing with WERA this season in the 600cc Novice class.

I live a few miles south of Baltimore, MD.

My turn-on's include track time of any sort (duh!) and my turn-off's include people more concerned with going 'fast' than simply making progress learning.

Looking forward to meeting all of you and watching STT's new Eastern section grow (on the forum and at the track)!

I'm in central NJ. I was a Reduc member since '95. Current trackbike is an '01 Honda CBR929 with lots of goodies on it. It also does street duty, and touring. I've got the Ventura luggage for it! Looking forward to the upcoming riding season!

Starting to sound like an AA meeting.

Um, hello, my name is Richard, (crowd: hello Richard)

and, um, I've been addicted to track days for over 4 years now. My addition has almost cost me my family, my mariage, my job, and my bank account. I feel that with the help of this group, I can help curb my useless habits and concentrate on things that matter most in life: corner speed.

Turn ons: red bikes, red trucks and Red Bull.

Turn offs: red lights, redlines, and red flags.

Hi all, this will be my first full season on a two stroke (RS 250) coming from years on R1s. I'm loving it so far and it's great that there seem to be so many in our group. I'm looking forward to learning from some of the people who can ride these things. :D

Likes: Packing up for the track day journey, pulling in at the track and setting up, seeing all the other bikes and riders.

Dislikes: Packing up for the ride home, pulling in at the house and unloading all of the stuff.

Actually my new favorite like is the sound those little two stroke engines make. Very cool.

Geez, Wapiz I didn't know you were from these here parts.

Hahahaha. Naw man, it's not like that. Just like trackdays, racing has both types of riders, and more often than not I like 'em all.

FOG... you live in PA and you only mention seeing folks at MidOhio and VIR? You skipped over Beaverun, Pocono and Summit. Some GOOD tracks there! LOL. What gives?

:D Hi Mary, When you read my post I said I did 2 or 3 track days a year. I like SP, BR and P F-USA. I did my first race at VIR in 1970 (3ed place) I am looking to ride the full track for old times. Mid-Ohio is a track that I think is a riders track and new to me. :D

Wow...that's totally cool...true second generation Reduc!

See you on the 22nd....everyone should start doing their good weather dance...it's only 2 weeks away!

    Kath

p.s. whoops, I guess I should add my info too...Kath Corgan, from NYC, track and street bike is a 2003 yellow Ducati 999 mono. Upgraded shock, steering damper, forks (Ohlins, ohlins, race-tech), Termi 50mm full system w/Ti end can, Yoyodyne slipper clutch (yummy!), Michelin Pilot Powers

Work in the film industry (camera person).

Favorite thing about riding on the track is trying to achieve that level of pure focus. Goal for this year is to improve consistency to improve my skills. And maybe if I have enough $$$, get some real track tires on another set of wheels!

    Lance Reich

    Mertztown(near Kutztown, PA)

bike has Penske shock, stock forks with Ohlins springs, Toby damper, slip-on, galfer lines, SBK3 pads, vortex, lightened rear rotor, BT002 tires. will eventually get valves done in forks, this yr, I'll try 1.0 springs over the .95's in there now.

Love learning what my limits are and pushing the envelope to a new level through experience.

Unamused about (being as well as) getting older and feeling those muscle aches after that first day back on the track.

I'm Erik from Schwenksville, PA. For those asking "where the h*** is that?" It's in Montgomery County which is the County just West of Phila. and I'm near Lansdale. I've been riding with Reduc since 1999. Started out on a Honda VTR 1000 (Superhawk) then went to a "96 GSXR 750 (gold color scheme). I still have the GSXR, but this year will be the year of the 2 stroke as I bought an Aprilia RS 250 from a guy in the Bronx. My good friend Jack (JaxRS) bought one last year and I enjoyed riding it so we figured we would get equal machines and dice it up the right way. Track days are the best way to forget all else in the world and just have some fun!!!!

Turn ons - too many to list :D

Turn offs - dishonest people :x

    See everyone at the track!!!!
