Attention Riders!! Don't just sit there....come out and RIDE with us Friday 7-23 at Monticello Motorclub - North Course. There is no better way to start your weekend. The day is to broken in 3 groups - PRO School, Sport & Supersport. Sport is for experienced Novice and slower Intermediate riders, Supersport is for faster Intermediate riders and Advanced riders. We will have a Novice class for first time track riders. If this is your first track day, after signing up online, please send an email to dave(at)chickenhawkracing.com and let us know you'll be attending this class for first time Novice so we can get a feel for how many participants we will have. And....don't forget the Pro School on 7/23/10! We will be splitting up the school into 2 different groups, a Novice-Intermediate group and an Intermediate Advanced group. See you at the track!! Fri Jul 23 Partly Cloudy high 84° low 63° chance of rain 10%
Can you decide on that day if you plan on doing the PROSCHOOL? OH and the last time I was at Monti, they did NOT have food there. I had to leave the grounds to get food down the road. have they eased the BBQ restrictions?
if there are spots available, we will let you sign up at the track. However, keep in mind that there are a limited amount of positions available for the PRO School and the only way to guarantee a spot is to sign up now. As far as food is concerned, MMC has served Burgers, Hot Dogs & Salads at every Sportbike Tack Time event that I have worked at so far this year. Grilling and camping is not yet allowed, but we will continue to work on it. However, at our next event, NJMP Thunderbolt, on Aug. 7, we WILL have BBQ: http://sttforum.com/sttforum/viewtopic.php?t=8043
My first time riding quickly in the rain. I was surprised at the grip available and my comfort level was good. My leathers gained about 20 lbs of weight from the rain! The coaching was great and my thick head hopefully absorbed some of the tips on body position that I need so much. Thanks guys! Jim B GSXR 600 #99
