I haven't heard much about Talledega. It looks really flat and simple. Anybody willing to share an opinion of how it compares to VIR North, CMP, and BMP?

    Surface Grip?

    Bumpy or smooth?

    Width?

    Fun factor?

    Thanks

Surface Grip? THE BEST ON THE PLANET. kNEES DOWN IN TEH RAIN ON DOT'S... SERIOUSLY

    Bumpy or smooth? SMOOTH

    Width? MEDIUM. SAY 30 FEET

Fun factor? SINCE IT HAS BAKED CORNERS AND WE RUN IT SAT CW AND SUN CCW IT IS A 9.5 FOR FUN.

At STT our events at Tally are LED's where you get seven 30-minute sessions during each day. That's 3-1/2 HOURS or ride time. Best bang for your buck.

    Thanks

From the pic's on their website, it looks like a good track for a motard also...I haven't tried mine out yet but maybe a day at Tally would be a prime opportunity

Check out the link below. We ride all STT souther events and this is just us getting a little early rididng in. I'm going to break my DRZ400SM out on Tally and from having spent alot of time on Tally on my GSXR750 I know I'm going to have a blast.

This is a really fun track. Not very simple. It is pretty technical.

Just a reminder...Some friends and myself are hosting a trackday at this track on Monday January 30th. The cost is 95 dollars and it will be ran just like a STT event. It is a small group, only 7 riders on the track at a time. check out the link above posted by OSHOW422. Only a few spots left.

This is a track that looks deceptively simple. It actually has some very complicated lines in the infield and last turns. It is pretty simple to run say a 1:12. To get a solid 1:12 to a 1:08 for example is very difficult. IMHO of course.

    I agree..!!..On my 75hp F3, I ran a 1:13 first time there. 1:11 2nd time ,1:10 3rd, 1:09 4th. see a pattern here..LOL... but Im hoping to get 08s & 07s on my 03R6 when I get to try it out...

I'm in for both days, March 25-26th

One question: Do they have electrical outlets available?

I was there a couple years ago and I don't recall seeing any... But then again, I wasn't looking for them.

I was on an FZ1 last time... this time? SV 650 S... Will be the first time out on the SV, should be the perfect track for it, I think :D
