Not since the configuration changes happened a few years back. It has been looked at and deemed unsafe due to some runoff issues in the clockwise direction. This question has come up a lot and every trackday group and WERA has decided it wouldn't be safe to run clockwise at this time.
Yes but 10 years ago.... With no runoff at the back straight you would wind up in a revine and over the tracks... Also the Pit out would be realLy sketch in Turn 1 on the inside...
I loved the old configuration and CW or CCW on the same weekend was awesome. We all used to pit under the oak trees and no one had 60' toy haulers and stuff. You were the business if you had an ezup back then.
