Quick question - you don't need a motorcycle endorsement on your driver's license to get on track, correct? I believe the answer is no, but want to confirm...rules say, "valid driver's license"...no mention of endorsement...

I have my motorcycle endorsement, but my brother-in-law coming with doesn't, he's been riding bikes for 20+ years, just no endorsement.

I don't think it is needed. I believe they only use your driver's license to confirm identity during registration.

So when you get there and unload, ride your bike up to the big RV where STT registration and Tech Inspection is going on, you will have to find a page in a binder that has your name on it, remove it from the binder, fill it out, hand it to one of the workers and give them your license, they will verify and give you a sticker to place on your bike. Stick the sticker on the front of your bike somewhere, then once someone performs tech inspection on it, they will initial the sticker confirming it has been through tech. Then you are free to go back to your pit until rider's meeting at 8:20am.

At 9am Novice will go into the classroom until around 9:25-9:30, then go back to your pit and get ready to go out for your first session at 9:40am. But they'll tell you all that in the rider's meeting. And just ask anyone if you have questions about what to do, everyone is always helpful.
