Putnam is a nice track and you will like it. Pavement is good and grippy. The track is nice and flowing with only one hard braking area. My favorite track in the midwest is the newly repaved Heartland park.

When I die, I hope to walk out of the cornfield, helmet in hand, and ask, "Is this Heaven?"

    "No, it's Putnam Park."

At most tracks, I have a favorite turn. At PP, EVERY turn is my favorite!

    I've raced/ridden:

    Grattan

    Gingerman

    Blackhawk

    Road America

    Gateway

    Mid Ohio

    MAM

    HPT

    Autobahn N,S & full

    Hallett

    Barber

    Daytona

    And my favorite, Putnam Park.

HPT= Heartland Park, Topeka. As in Kansas. Cool track, but will never replace Putnam Park in my heart!

It has the most aggressive surface of any track in the midwest .

No power outlets , so bring a generator if you have tire warmers .

T4 the first left hander seems to give the most problems .Track is safe with allot of run off area .

Turn 1 at Putnam is SOOOOOOOO fast.. it's really just an agressive kink leading into turn 2. EVERY time I go through it I'm thinking.. you wussy.. you could have done this a lot faster. And if you DO go off there is about 3,000 feet of runoff room.

    We stay at the Walmart.

I'll be there in the Novice Group. Putnam seems to be a fun track to ride from what I've seen and heard.

Nope no camping :( I like the last set of turns going on to the strait you have to pick a good line through the last 3 turns to make it right. hehe T1 2 3 are the same way. God its a fun track a great track to work on body position as the turn are long and fast. I'll be thier the 30th in the A class ya'all
