 Hello, my name is Bill, and I'm a trackaholic. Does anyone have directions to the 12 step program?? How about to the staff section? Really just making sure that I'm able to post now, but I might still have a problem
oh silly billy boy... oh i have your trophies!! i need to get those to you. so you gonna come out to the track this year? you better be at mid-ohio to show me how to go FAST
S'up Bill? PM Travis (Slow1) to get registered for the Staff section. What are you going to be riding this year?
Probably be on an R1. I can't wait, I haven't been this pumped ever for a year that I am not racing. I will send off that pm. Have you ridden your new toy yet?? Looks cool!
R1... I'll be sure to keep my elbows tucked in on the back straight at Mid-Ohio. You're not planning on racing this year? Yeah, right. Haven't got the KTM/NSR to fire yet. :? Everything is in place. Just have to come up with a better way to get it started. I had a roller cradle made, but my truck won't turn it, & the rollers seem to be too small & slippery anyway. Going to look for a motorized roller starter. Might put a kick starter on it too & try to come up with something that will spin the shaft of the kick starter shaft sufficiently.
That kinda sucks, anyway to get a grip tape or something on the rollers, can't remember what I saw the vintage guys using at AHRMA. You may need one of those super trick superbike starters and a good pit bitch to roll it around for ya! Yea, I really can't race this year, if I could a 1k wouldn't be the bike. Sure will be fun on some of those straights though. Was going to leave the new bike fairly stock, but can't stop thinking about parts I will need, shock, forks, stabilizer, pipe, PCIII, maybee shifter, oh yeah Sliders, definately sliders   Elbows in may be a good approach
Hi Bill. Kara here. I think the 12 step program is just to get in more track time! Erik isn't racing this year either. I guess the broken collar bone got the best of him. And the wallet is a little skinny.
I never heard about the broken collerbone, I know all about the thin wallet thing. First hand unfortunately. Maybee I will hit the lottery, yeah, I'll hit the Lottery. All I need now are some good numbers to play and I'm in there. Get him to do a track day or two, he'll be right back to the addiction. And Drew, I heard about you and Jeff''s race to the stage to pick up my trophy's. Thanks, now someday I would like to at least see them, I wonder if they'll send my other one
haha, yea it was quite comical to say the least. I'll bring 'em to mid-o if i can remember. also you can camp in the motorhome with me if you want. I'm gonna be rockin it out solo there and at nelson while the dad is in Hawaii.
Sweet! Hopefully the weather gets back into the 80's for that one. I'm crashin in your rig, but I swear if you try to spoon me, that's it
I knew the last line would get somebody to say something. Sup, Eddie. I already miss being at the races and they haven't really even started yet. Maybee I'll just load as much shit as I can into my truck, drive a couple of hours, then look for something that I loaded up at the bottom. It's the little things that I'll miss the most   Lizard, I think we are scheduled at a couple of the same days, I would have to check to b sure. Did i read somewhere that your racing again this year? Oh yeah, I think I'm going to RA in June on the 4-5, never been there yet, I can't wait to see the end of that straight on a 1K.
Last endurance race at Nelson's in October. He went down in 4. Bike was OK, but he had to go to the hospital. We will be at Mid-Ohio for the Kawasaki day and for the CA Superbike School. Not sure what other track days we will do, but he is definitely doing them - not afraid. He just get stressed out with the racing. I think he is getting too old! LOL.
