"I can't feel my fingers"... "Hey Monte, might wanna wipe that snotcicle off your nose befor you teach teh classroom session"...... "What exactly is hypothermia??"... I don't think the really hard stuff is going to come down for awhile.." "You rode here from WHERE??? WTF, you're nuts man!!" "Screw it, I'm riding and I WILL have fun.." All quotes from a sometimes cold, sometimes wet, sometimes sunny weekend. Thank you to everyone who came out for the season opener at Pocono! Hopefully May will be a lot nicer. Congrats to David for surviving his first weekend as a Regional Director and wanting to stick with it (suuuuuuuucker!!!) LOL!!! Hat's off to the Track Coaches who were out there every session to help our Novice group have a quality experience both days in less than ideal condition. And a big Thumbs up to the PA Posse for an awesome job. Pro corner/safety folks like this make it look easy to run a safe event, you guys and gals are the best THANK YOU!!!!! See you in May!
Hey Monte, Sunday was a good time despite the rain and it's efforts to ruin the day. Thanks for the Ibuprofen too. That headache was not something I wanted to deal with all day. Is there any chance we could have a sign with the letter of the group that is on the grid for the Pocono events in the future? Possibly, it could be on a post right outside the STT trailer? I know we had certain groups running at 20 mins intervals but it would have been cool to have something else as a backup. Pocono's lack of a speaker system doesn't help things but it was just something a few of the riders were talking about to help. Thanks and see you at Beaverun.
Doug and I had a blast at Pocono- so, the weather didn't cooperate the entire time and neither did our trailer lights on the way home- it was great to see old STT friends and make new friends. Thank you Monte, Bonnie, Dave and friends for a great weekend. See you all soon. Michelle
Hey Monte, Even though I pushed my freakin' Ducati as much as I rode it, my first STT event was really fun. I also appreciated your help with what to look for when I finally "fixed" it. Met some great people and once that line dried out, it was a real blast. Thanks again to you, Bonnie anfd the entire team. Kevin
Hey Kevin, I'm from the Binghamton area, It's nice to see someone else from "upstate" NY. I talked to a couple other guys from Syracuse looking to do some track days also but they haven't really gotten into it yet. I think they're planning on a trip to Loudon in July though. Anyway, I wimped out and didn't go last Sat. but would be cool to meet you in May if you're going to be there. Gavin
