Since I met my wife riding motorcycles, and she likes, well, pretty much anything with a motor, I can do pretty much as many trackdays as budget will allow. t

Tacmedic.............We are BOTH very lucky/smart/blessed guys to have found women like we have. I just never even dreamed that it was possible when I went through my divorce in 2004 to find someone like Peggy, and especially with both of us being in our mid 50's age wise.
I'm the one that has to beg Michael to schedule his vacation days at work so we can buy our spots for the year. Just purchased our Barber spots for June before he even got out of bed yesterday. If that ain't love, I don't know what is....
My wife sets her annual work vacation schedule according to my trackdays. she loves the track!! she was by my side every weekend when I raced as well. She is my rock at the track and when I am down she picks me up. I most likely would not even go do this with out her that is how important she is to me. She loves the stuff, timing me just because she loves it and ribs me about it after every session, you can usually spot her fence side or watching closely from somewhere guaranteed, riding her scooter everywhere and of course the travel which can be tough on a 2nd shift worker like her. She has been by my side when things went wrong and I was busted up. Best damn home nurse a guy could ask for. She is the same way about my streetbike addiction, the sky is my limit. Of course all of this was discussed before saying "I do" 20 years ago. She knew what she was getting into before hand so there were no secrets. She is tuelly a track guys dream women. I am lucky to have her and I know it. :wink:
I have raced adn track-dayed since 1989. My wife took an MSF class with her friend from work. Bought her an SV650. She rode that the first year and was really careful. SHe had no experience before that. No dirt biking or scootering or anything. She "outgrew" the SV650 quickly(actually the low speed fueling is really touchy with those and she fell in love with her white '07 CBR600RR on the showroom floor). I had to trade he SV for the CBR, of course!!! Anything to make her happy and keep going to the track. Now she keeps trying to get us to go to 2 trackdays per month and we jsut can't afford that. It is tough to pay for entry fees for 2, tires for 2, gas for 2, leathers for 2, helmets for 2,etc. But as long as she is happy, I am happy. I am one of he luckiest guys in the world.
I just got the "we've never been anywhere together except to visit your friends in New York and go to the stupid racetrack.I want a vacation!" OK, how about we go to Birmingham, AL next fall, say, end of October?
im divorced and maybe track days, whether it bike track days, my dirt track late model track days, or my old nhra crew chief track day job is the reason lol... now the only one i have to answer to is the bank statement
