Again I am reminding readers of this post that I will be attending Barbers April 13th for my first track day and would like to know the proper tire pressure for the track. I will be in novice and have a 02 Gsxr 750 with 180-55-17/120-70-17 michelin pilot powers. No tire warmers will be used. I realize I will have to check the psi throughout the day as the tire goes through several heat cycles but am wondering what pressure I should have in em at the start of the day? And also if there is a source of air at barbers or should I find an air tank to bring with me? Thanks in advance.

If you need air losts of people have air tanks never heisitate to ask everyone is really great at the trackand the STT tire crew has some, down near reg/sign up you'll see when you are there. I run Mich PP2CT's and run Front 30 / Rear 30 ~ 28. Ask the tire techs also they will know for each type the proper psi. Have a blast Barber is great! Back in May!

I run Pilot Powers and 30/30 on the track as recommended by "The Twins" on my 600 GSXR. After I set it cold I dont mess with pressures. No tire warmers and draggin my knee after a few laps.
