So at my last trackday I have been dragging my toes on the ground at almost every turn. I have vortex rearsets and I have pushed them all the way back and all the way up. How do I stop this. And I still haven't gotn my knee down, ever. So I'm assuming it's my body positioning.

Yup, that would be a body position issue. Fairly common to drag your toe first before your knee.

Same question was asked less than a month ago. Read about it here.

Basically it boils down to hang off the bike more and get with a coach.

I didn't say anything about foot position it's bad body position the generally leads to dragging toes.
There's a few pics in the other thread.

I read the other thread. I can improve anything, especially bp.

It all comes with practice, but seriously get with the coach.
    Good luck

    Body Position!

I was doing the same until this weekend at Barber. It all finally clicked in the last session. I positioned like my coach instructed (thanks Shannon!!!)...and I was dragging both knees with ease. It all just came together naturally. On to Intermediate (with approval).

As stated ...have a coach follow you around and it will click...

Spending more time with a coach is good advice.

Also buy the track photos and, if you have a GoPro, mount it behind you. Use these to study your body position after each track day. You'll likely find you're not positioned nearly as far off the bike as you felt like you were.

And for foot position, use the swing arm as your reference point. Based on where you place your heel on the swing arm, your foot and knee with be where they should be.

Unless you don't stretch enough, like me. In which case your knee never quite gets out as far as it should ;-)
