So I decided to be a cheapass last year and bought a set of tomahawk tire warmers for $250. Honestly, I'm not disappointed with them for the money since they seem pretty similar to the entry level chicken hawks, my only concern is the temperature they run at, 175 degrees, which I've been told is a bit too hot for michellin pilot race's and may just be drying out my tires.

Assuming the themostat is similar to a chicken hawk, anyone know how to lower the temp? I believe there was talk of changing a resistor in the chicken hawks. Also, is 175 too hot or was I not correctly informed?

I suppose this would fit better in technical questions, but this forum seems to get a lot more views =/
