Superbike planet (6/20/07) mentioned JT was going to make an announcement this last weekend . I've certainly read all the rumors but has there been an actual announcement that I can't seem to find anywhere?

Possible third ride for Team Kawasaki's GP European dates? I read that Roger Hayden is running the third green bike at Laguna only.

As I understand, Kawasaki is interested in Roger riding the ZX-RR at Laguna Seca but didn't make a final decision yet. Because paper work and entries have to been filled out ahead of time they applied for Roger to enter the race making it feasible if everyone decides to do this.

    http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2007/Jun/e/n070624f.htm

""It's not really a done deal or anything yet," he continued. "They are interested in me doing it. (Kawasaki's Mike) Preston and my manager will know more about it. To be honest, I don't know that much about it. I have my hands full with what's going on here in the States. We're finally making some progress with the Superbike.""

Yea, I was a little surprised at that news. Roger is a good rider, but MotoGP caliper? I think this is more for his knowledge of the track than the chance of him getting on the podium with a GP bike.

According to Nicky and Tommy, Roger is the fast one. Perhaps we'll see some day. It was nice seeing Nicky close to the front in [England] but I feel it was more the weather helping than it was Honda delivering the goods.

Also, Kurtis is to ride the KR machine until the new chassis is done as the team feels Kenny has enough seat time and having two motorcycles available for Kurtis will aid his track time and getting up to speed on the machine.

Looks like he's going to Tech 3 Yamaha for next year. Just read on superbikeplanet.

I wonder if they're keeping Dunlop, if so I hope that make huge strides forward. Not that I'm a fan of either Yamaha or Toseland, but want to see more people fighting for the lead.
