I did my first track day at Talladega back in May. And would like to do one more this year. My choices are Carolina, Roebling Road or Jennings. All are about the same distance away from me. So which one do you like or recommend for a Ducati Monster? I'm obviously not interested in top speed but want something more technical. Thanks

With a TN addy you've got alot of choices out there. One the nation's premiere tracks is right down the road in Birmingham at Barber Motorsports Park.

You've also got VIR with its several challenging courses. VIR North is probably more your flavor from what you described.

Sweet Pea is right....do them all. 8)

Putnam Park is a great track to try. Being in TN, check out Jennings just south of Valdosta, Ga. Its a bit of a drive (10+ for me) but best of everything

Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up not doing any more track days last year.

I'm signed up though for Talladega again on March 25 and 26. And would like to try Barber in June and Road Atlanta for Ducati Day.

Ohlins rear will arrive tomorrow. Now I'm thinking new fork springs, rear sets and a damper and I'm all set.

If your gearing is stock, Barber kind of bites on a monster. Go 2 to 3 teeth up on the rear and its better. Almost all of the ducs are geared too tall for Barber.

I went down one up front from 15T to 14T. And I switched to a lightweight flywheel. Ohlins rear but now I need to do something about the front end.
