Add back protector to the riding gear. And a rain suit if you're going to Mid-Ohio. Two if you plan on letting Bill Stranahan use one. If you're not going to Mid-Ohio & the weather is nice, bring sunblock, a tent & a good air mattress. Using the tent & air mattress will save you some money for tires, & it's fun hanging out at the track all night. If you're going to Grattan or GingerMan, bring a fishing pole & bug spray. I've found it works out best if someone else brings a handy Pit Bitch. You just might have to take her for a 2-Up ride every now & then, or have an occasional foot race in a hotel parking lot, barefoot.
A big ass motor home with A/C and satellite TV. 2 HOT pit bitches (can never have too many) plus they are more for us than you!!!!! No joking there: Somewhere in your supplies on a piece of paper have your name, any medical issues some may need to know and a phone number of who to call if something happens. I am sure we all have pitted next to someone and had no idea who they are. I know some of this maybe on the reg form, but having it all in 1 space sure makes it easier.
Back protector ..I knew I'd leave out something obvious  Good idea on the Medical info and i've done good with keeping talented Pit Bitches
Rob, be sure to bring plenty of antacid, cuz i'll be bringing my smoker to alot more events next year. i'll even smoke some brisket so Schuster can eat with us too... L
oh yea ....pork .Its the gator aid that gets me .If you need some bucks let me know .I could have eaten three times as much .I think I speak for everyone on this . Dont forget the RED BULL
oh yeah. i'll bring triple the amount of beans too, so K3 can get enough and leave some for everyone else, too! gingerman was just an experiment, I'll really do it up right this spring.
Good point. And if you borrow the gas tank off of one bike to put on another bike, don't forget to bring the keys to both bikes. Otherwise, you're in for a big surprise when you eventually go to put more gas in the bike.
I didnt know that was sanctioned foot race in the parking lot... according to the pit bitch i talked to, it was more like a foot chase to make sure the head lead instructor made it to class in the morning. On a serious note: A friend of some type is always a good idea. How many times have we seen disaster strike to someone who came alone and didnt know anyone there. Plus they are handy to have around when the pit bitch is unavailable or just not speaking to you. Also, a truck or trailer.... don't ride to the track. Why tempt fate? Another good bit of advice i have seen is to program a number under ICE (In Case of Emergency) into your cell phone. That way, if someone does have to make that call, it is easy to find in your phone.
A fan for the dog days of summer. Really helps you and the bike between sessions. 2 words ... Baby Powder... Park near one of the Motorhomes, and save your generator. Tell the Motorhome folks you dont want to make so much noise, and ruin the satellite TV, so could you just "plug in"?
