Hey guys, need some advice here.

My CBR came with 1" (rise) Woodcraft clip ons. Which i have since removed because they hit the body work and wouldn't let you turn lock to lock without hitting the brake.

Not entirely sure why the previous owner had those on there....

At any rate, i replaced them with factory bars, but would like to return to clip ons.

So, question is, should i sell the whole 1" clip on assembly and hope to buy new (Honda needs 1 1/2" rise), or should i attempt to trade?

yup, the Apex have the risers on them so they won't interfere with the bodywork:thumb:

Mine have risers (WC) and I actually lowered them cut the bodywork & modified my stock fairingstay/intake to make it work for me. I like the lower (non riser) type clipons like I've had on previous bikes.

Well with this gen of CBRs i HAVE to have a 1.5 inch riser for it to clear everything. (no rise really wouldnt work)
I have no idea why the previous owner had 1" risers instead of the 1.5 inch ones.

My question (to be more pointed) was

Should i sell them, turn around and use that money to buy new ones, OR should i attempt to try and just trade the 1 inch risers for a 1.5 inch riser?

Well shoot man! We can work something out if it benefits both of us.
I'll be up north in Chicago for the motorcycle show Feb. 7th.
If not then, i'll happily hold on to them until we can meet up at ACC.

Or just send em up to you, and if you like em, send the 1.5" risers back. If you don't, send mine back to me.
Im using stock bars right now so they are just sitting in a box.

(im on an 07 cbr as well)
